Experience Virginia Beach Fishing

Are you looking for an awesome fishing spot? Virginia Beach Fishing offers an entertaining and a rewarding fishing experience with all the charters there are. Some people take fishing as their means of livelihood while some take it as an entertainment. Every shudder of a fishing rod gives a tang of excitement to the one holding the rod for it means a catch. I could say it is addictive once you have your first catch for it is what I felt when I took my first catch, an ell, off the fishing hook. Some people even considered fishing a sport that they even join full-time fishing operation to any fishing charters. There are several fishing charters you can join in Virginia. One is located in Rudee Inlet on the Atlantic Ocean, which takes pride being a fist class Virginia Beach fishing charter. If you haven’t tried fishing yet, you better try an awesome fishing experience now.

Weekend in Black and White: To Dipolog

I was with siblings when I took this picture on our way to Dipolog riding my blue bike from our weekend visit in Manukan. If you have noticed, that's our bike parked on the side of the road. We had to stop because there was a check point ahead. My brother who was the driver has no license yet and he was not wearing a helmet. I could have driven the bike so we didn't need to stop and wait for the check point to leave but the officers took my license two days before that when we were on our way to Manukan. So we had no choice but to wait until 5:00 pm. There were lots of bike riders behind us too who were waiting. Like us, they couldn't risks their bike (if no license and registration) and their license (if no helmet).

This is my share for The Weekend in Black and White. Click on link for more black and white shots.

Spend Family Holiday at Hoseasons Holiday Parks

Hoseasons Holiday Parks offers a lot of family fun especially this holiday season. They’ve collected more activities, facilities and entertainments intended for the whole family to enjoy their stay. Hoseasons actually listed as ‘family-fun plus’ Holiday Parks. They’ve became the preferred place for the whole family to stay on vacation this Holiday season. I heard not only adults will enjoy but also the children plus the accommodation is very affordable. So, why not drag your whole clan for a Family Holiday Hoseasons getaway?

There are three ways to enjoy your quality moment with family at Hoseasons Holiday Parks.

First, you can enjoy the outdoor and indoor pool that caters for the whole family. After the enjoyable swimming time at their bluish indoor and outdoor pool, you can either get yourselves some entertainment at the bar or do some kids and families activities.

Second, you can relax and enjoy the views. You and your family can explore the local areas and fill your sight with superb views. One of the most preferred ways for a family to bond is to have a picnic in the middle of a charming surrounding. So when tired exploring the beautiful sceneries in the local areas of Hoseasons Holiday Parks, drag your family to a perfect place for a picnic where you can breathe freeze air.

Third, you can get your whole family involve in any fun and active activities. There are skill classes you and your children can enroll to learn new skills or harness your existing skills. This is a fun way to stay healthy, isn't it? There is a wide range of activities waiting for you to try at Hoseasons Holiday Parks. You better check it out yourself.

Watery Wednesday #2

It is Wednesday again, time to share something watery. Today, I want to share a photo taken by my brother on his way to Cebu during their educational trip there with his co-BS Marine Transportation students. The sea seemed calm during their sea trip. Thank God the weather permitted them to have a great sea trip. They traveled more than 10 hours. They departed from Dapitan Pier at around 4:00 p.m. on the 8th of December via Cocaliong Shipping lines and arrived in  Cebu on the 9th around 6:00 a.m.

Here are some photos of my brother while at their trip:
Looks like he had fun. It was his first time travelling alone, I mean without the family although he was with his classmates. It was also his first time budgeting his allowance while on trip, usually it's our parents' duty. Lol

This Blog Is Back to Its Blogspot Domain

Last year, I got a 1-year free custom domain for this blog. It was www.chieswhereabouts.com. It didn't expire yet but getting close to its expiration. Although the custom domain didn't expire yet, I made a final decision to return this blog's blogspot domain and crash out its custom domain. There are several reasons. First, I will not renew it because I didn't notice good changes within a year of using the custom domain. My page rank didn't climb up even 1. I totally lost my 3 page rank, which I had using blogspot. Now that this blog is back to its old blogspot domain, I hope to get that 3 page rank back or at least I can manage to raise its page rank higher than 0.

What’s Your Family Holiday Getaway?

Do you already have a holiday getaway in mind? This holiday season fits for a whole family to bond and share some quality time together. It is this particular season when the whole family should enjoy each other’s company. It is this season when we forget about meetings and set aside works. It is this season when we get away from the hassles of our busy life and hectic schedules. It is this season when we simply spend happy moments with family. So, have you already thought of a perfect destination for a whole family trip or you rather spend the holiday at home?
Some people choose to spend holiday season at home while some choose luxury or choose to explore the other areas of the world like traveling overseas. Well, my family will likely choose the first that I’ve mentioned. We rather spend the expense for overseas travel to holiday preparations this holiday. But to those who love to travel overseas this holiday season, why don’t you try the villas in turkey particularly on the Aegean Coast? Turkey can be a perfect destination of your family holiday getaway overseas. During the day, you can dip in the shining crystal beach there or explore the historical and architectural places for an educational Greek mythology adventure. Then at night, you and your family can have good night sleep in the villa.

Watery Wednesday #1

I am back to Watery Wednesday. Some of you must have noticed my photo blog where I used to post photo memes like Water Wednesday. But lately, I came up with a final decision of taking it down for I can no longer maintain it. I finally realized how hard it is to have several blogs. I had about 9 blogs, 4 of them are taken down already. Now I have five left and I hope I will not be taking down another one in the future.

Anyway, my share today is a leftover photo of the photos I posted in my post last week.  I can't explain the picture so much so better look at it.

The Seawall and The Complaints

The seawall construction in my hometown is still ongoing yet nearing its end. I thought all the people, especially those who are living near the sea would be happy about this idea but not actually. There are some who are complaining about its danger to children who dare to come up and down the steps. That I guess, is the top in list of disadvantages of this seawall construction.

Just last month while visiting my parents, I sneaked out and took a good stroll in the sea. I climbed up to the steep steps of the seawall. Those were indeed dangerous for children to climb up but I didn't think of it that much. Instead, I enjoyed the breeze and scenery. A child's safety is the parents' responsibility. The steep steps of the said seawall will only be dangerous when the parents are careless enough to watch their children. Don't you agree?
Another complain, or the so-called second disadvantage is to have to climb up and down the steps in order to enjoy the sea water, in order to go for a swim. That's why a seawall is called a seawall. You have to really climb up and down unless you have that power to walk through walls.
It is really like that sometimes. People tend to be very ungrateful with new things, with new progresses. I do care about our home (parents'). I don't wish for it to be washed away by waves during typhoons. This seawall, for me is a very good idea and will be of a big help whenever storms visit our area.
I've witnessed a strong storm before that washed those houses away like it was swept by giant brooms. Although no one was seriously hurt during that time but many were homeless. I do hope this seawall will guard the houses in my hometowns especially those that are standing nearby the sea against the big waves.
