To Visit or Not To Visit The Little Hongkong of The South?

My close friend Pabz talked about his plan to travel with his cousin to Pagadian City the other day when he visited here in my apartment. I recalled he mentioned about a church event that they had to attend. He asked me if I like the idea of travelling with them, it is only a one-day travel anyway. He said my blogging job would not be much left out for it will only be a day away from my computer. Silly! It would be so lame of me to use that excuse not to go. He added a more assuring piece that we'll have great time there for his cousin has a car that we can use for a short city tour conveniently and safely. Exploring a new environment, just great!

The idea sounded so great but I just couldn't go and attend their church event for we believe in two different religions. It was sad that I couldn't accompany him for I knew very well he only wanted to have a fun company that he can talk to during the long hours of bus ride. Argh! Aside from the religious clash, the long hours of bus ride made me so uninterested to go. An hour bus ride from my home to my apartment is already a dilemma, now how long does it take to travel from Dipolog City to Pagadian City? If there's no other faster routes from Dipolog to Pagadian, it is roughly 10  hours bus ride or more. Just thinking about it already made me feel dizzy. Sadly, I declined.
Photo not mine.

The City of Pagadian is the capital city of the province of Zamboanga del Sur that is situated on the northeastern side of Western Mindanao region. I've heard about this city a lot from my relatives who are from there but I've never had a chance to have a visit. I believe though (if I am not mistaken) that I've already passed Pagadian on my chaotic and tiring travel to, for the very first time, the City of Iligan. I swore not to travel that route again unless for a very important matter. Well, let's set Iligan City aside and get back to Pagadian. I did a little research about this booming city that's now taking pride of its every progress as years passed. Do you know that it earned a nickname, the "Little Hongkong of The South"? I just knew about it. It is believed that the city acquired this nickname from its hilly or rolling terrain surrounding the commercial and residential districts, which reminds us of the famous Crown Colony.

Photo not mine.

With that trick played by mother nature on the ground of Pagadian City, locals are left thinking to come up a solution to their problem with public transportation. Then came a uniquely designed tricycle that's inclined at about 25 to 40 degrees angle to adopt the rolling terrain of the city. It is now the iconic symbol of Pagadian. I got no information on who specifically was the person who had thought of this idea first. I wonder how it's like riding on that tricycle. It looks scary not to mention the hilly way...but I must say I wanna try it someday.

One Of The Trusted Real Estate Companies in Belize

If you don't like going through the long and tiring process of looking for a property, the easiest way would be seeking help from a real estate agent. There are credible and trusted real estate companies with professional agents, lawyers and surveyors that can help you with your search and process of the transactions, paper works and stuffs securely and smoothly. It may be costly on your part because it is the agents that do the searching job for you and all you have to do is to check the property of the given address and negotiate but rest assured, you are getting a professional service. Thus, it is less tiring for you and you are guaranteed of buying a legitimate property.

When my husband and I did a home search few years ago, one mistake we did was to look for it ourselves. Can you imagine how tiring it was for us to drive and walk around the city to look for a home that fits to our liking? Plus we have undergone a lot of bulls during the search through negotiating a lot of middle persons who only care of getting their own shares. Whereas, when you directly go to a real estate agent, you’ll be just dealing with the agent and property owner.

So when you think of buying a property, I suggest to directly getting the services of real estate companies for they are certified to do such job. Of course you have to look for the trusted realtors like Belize Property Agents, one of the trusted Belize Real Estate companies you can find in Central America. Mentioning of Belize, it is a country known for its abundance of terrestrial and marine species being situated on the north eastern coast of Central America. Imagine living an oceanic life in Belize with the grandeur of amazing ocean sceneries from sunrise to sunset. If you want that, then check out the beach front property listings at Belize Property Agents website.

A Floating Resort

How would you like to ride on this splendid ship or...I call it floating resort? If the ocean can be as still as this in the picture for all time, I would love to live on this ship. If only this could be true and affordable.

Photo not mine.

I was wowed the first time I saw this picture tagged by a friend on my Facebook wall. Tsk! To think it's almost time for a beach break, the best time to cool down during the hot-dry season, came this inviting scenery of a floating resort. I couldn't imagine the amazement I will feel when I get to see this ship for real, much more boarding on it and swimming on its pool. Could there be someone genius enough to build this ship with all its fun and luxury?  Whoever invented this ship, which I believe invented on Photoshop sure is a genius for making such fantasy seemed so true.

Its neighbouring cities include Daytona Beach, Wildwood, West Palm Beach and Punta Gorda. Orlando also has a couple of sister cities like Valladolid in Spain and Swindon in United Kingdom.

To get into Orlando from outside the country, the most preferable way of travelling would be using airplanes, where tickets to Orlando will land either at Orlando International Airport or Orlando-Sanford International Airport. Aside from these two airports, there are also other airports nearby which is in an acceptable distance from Orlando like Tampa International Airport and Miami International Airport. Orlando is widely known for the Walt Disney World which is the biggest theme park in the world, but there are also other attractions that lure tourists to come to this city each year. One of them is Sea World Orlando where it concentrates its attraction on the animals of the sea. Those who are fond of seals or dolphins among other sea animals will surely have a great time here. You can always enjoy the animal shows which are held from time to time all day long and there are also roller coasters here that are quite impressive for those who do not have enough in the Walt Disney World.

Aside from the theme parks, Orlando also has a couple of museums which are interesting to see. Just One of Those FB Nights

No, I don't mean the Facebook "FB" but Fuse Box bar cafe, one the the bars in Dipolog City that I love to go to. Just sharing here one of those 'worth-it' night out parties in Fuse Box with classmates and friends. I was able to meet nice and annoying people plus I received a gift certificate from Mary Kay.

Out of the blue, this friendly guy approached me. He was at the bar counter in FB, which is my favorite spot there.

He was with this not-so-friendly girl who seemed to be the new cashier. When I secretly asked someone who the guy was, I was informed he's the brother of the owner of Fuse Box.Whew! Meanly socializing costumers, for sure.
But why is it that of all the lady costumers in there, I was the only one whom he handed this Mary Kay gift certificate? Maybe because I frequent the place.

One Fun Night In Balai Resto Bar

I was reunited with Lyn, one of the friends I had in College. I was glad to see her again after she gave up college and run away from her home to live together with her boyfriend. She was able to escape from her kind of live in partner and joined the night out with our other friends one weekend night.
Where else could we be hanging out? Balai Resto Bar is where we like hanging out the most these days so we took her there. It was so much fun being with the craziest and the noisiest mongos Lyn (in yellow) of the Mongos Clan again. She hasn't changed.
The night out wouldn't be completed without Pabz. He's present most of my night outs for he's the only person I can trust when I get drunk.

My sister Cheem, her boyfriend and two of her friends joined us too. They bought a round of drinks and a serve of Calamares for pulutan. It was another fun night out party I had with friends.

Thankful For These Techno Helpers

Almost everything is easier to do nowadays due to the rapid development in technology. We have an easier life as we say. There seems to be a lot of geniuses showing off their talents in that field each and every day for us to try and enjoy. But can you tell that you are fortunate to have lived in this generation to enjoy such high technology? I know of its disadvantages but I am thankful for it makes my everyday life much easier. They are techno-helpers helping us with our daily chores, putting a much lighter yoke on our shoulders. Before, it took us hours to finish cooking on the cinder, now there are cookers and other electric cooking equipments that make the cooking much faster, easier and oh, more hygienic. When it comes to communication, we don’t need to wait for how many days to receive a message because through mobile phones and other communicating device like a computer, communicating can be done in just a second.

Those big and small businesses, at one look from an ordinary eye give headache but hey, they use high-tech machineries, electronic equipments and computer software(s) that help workers getting the job done faster and more efficient. Sometimes, it is even the machine itself that does all the work. For example the third party logistic companies that do shipments and require warehouses, they are using wms software or Warehouse Management System software to their advantage. As we all want when sending out packages, or even when receiving, we want it to be on the right time, to the right person, according to the right amount of delivery we are paying for. With the many people getting the shipment services everyday, how do you think the workers monitor and manage all the needed information efficiently? Through manual monitoring, recording or inventory, mistakes are expected but with the help of wms software, the business along with its employees and the costumers or consumers gain advantage from its efficient management system. Really amazing are the latest technologies that this world offers!

Monkey Trail at Puerto Prinsesa Palawan

The fact that our wedding anniversary is fast approaching, I can't help but look back the days when hubby and I were enjoying the first two weeks of marriage. Everything was perfect. We were both happy as we explored a bit of Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan during our honeymoon.

One fun activity we did in Palawan that I haven't talked about yet in this blog was the Monkey Trail. It was actually not included in our package tour but we did it anyway. We did it after rowing in the Underground River. We were given enough time to eat and rest before heading back to the resort we were staying. We got bored waiting for the rest of the tourists to finish eating that we thought of going for a trail.

One of the monkeys who stole some of our foods. Lol! He was cool enough to strike a pose for my camera.

We were hesitant to climb at first afraid we'll get caught for it was restricted during our tour but our  curiosity to see what is up there didn't stop us though. We headed up to look for the monkeys.

We climbed up higher and higher but there weren't any signs of monkeys. It seemed like all of them were down where the tourists were at to snatch some foods. We were disappointed to see no monkeys, we climbed back down and had a rest.
